Growing the Movement
Over the past couple of months, we’ve been quietly working behind the scenes on something really special. With a generous, dedicated contribution from Laura Ring, a friend of Hardy Girls, and the vision and expertise of our beloved board member Mads Hanna (a brand strategist and copywriter), we brought on a professional graphic designer and project manager to help refresh our brand for our 25th anniversary year.
We didn’t change who we are - we just gave our look a glow-up to match our 25-year energy! Over the next month, you’ll start seeing new visuals across our website, newsletters, and social media.
Think of it as the same Hardy Girls you know and love - just dressed for the party.
BE YOUR BOLD SELF - IN BREWER
“This is my third year coming and it's been great every year, thank you!”
This spring, FAB members are once again leading our Be You, Boldly! conferences. Designed by FAB, for middle school girls across Maine, our conferences create spaces where young people can build confidence, find belonging, and learn how to use their voices for change.
We can’t wait to show you what FAB is planning this year!
REGISTRATION OPENS IN FEBRUARY!
HELLO, FRANKLIN COUNTY
We’re also celebrating a major milestone in Franklin County this week.
After a successful semester at the University of Maine at Farmington, we are officially launching our first Coalition Groups!
Thanks to the leadership of our incredible Muse Coordinator, Emma Towers, and a growing team of college Muses, we’re expanding our middle school programming into new communities and bringing Hardy Girls’ curriculum to even more young people so we can empower the next generation of feminist leaders!
BECAUSE OF YOU: 25 YEARS STRONG
Hardy Girls is proud to celebrate 25 years of raising a ruckus!
A quarter of a century of youth leadership, community power, and girls changing the world around them.
This anniversary is for our entire community and we want you in it!
We’ll be celebrating all year long with a refreshed brand, connecting with founders and alumni, and a major anniversary celebration this spring.
Along with our fresh look, we have a bold goal: in honor of 25 years, and to be strong for the next 25 to come, we aim to raise $50,000 and bring 250 new friends into the Hardy Girls network!
